Tantric Massage Prague
A tantric massage cannot be described as a list of strokes. It is the whole shape of the session — from the moment you sit down and talk to your therapist, through the work with breath, to the long quiet ending where you simply lie there and nothing is rushed. That frame is what separates it from an ordinary massage, where the point is the muscles. In tantra the point is attention.
What tantric massage actually is
The technique comes from an Indian tradition in which the body was never something to be overcome, but a route to concentration and to being present. We keep the parts that are useful: a slow pace, a conscious touch that is not going anywhere and demands nothing, and deliberate work with breathing. No rituals you would not understand, no esoterics — just enough time for the body to genuinely let go.
How the session runs
It starts with a short conversation. Your therapist will ask whether you have had a tantric massage before, what you expect from it, and whether there is anything you would rather avoid. This is not a formality — everything that follows is built on your answers. Then comes a shower and the move into the massage room, which is warm, dimly lit and soundproofed from the street.
The massage itself begins with breath. Your therapist guides you into slower, deeper breathing — a few minutes most people underestimate at first and appreciate afterwards. Only then does touch arrive: long strokes with warm oil across the whole body, from the back and legs and gradually round to the front. The pace is deliberately slow. The aim is not to cover as much of the body as possible, but to let every part of it actually register.
The last phase is the quietest. The therapist gradually slows down and leaves you lying still for several minutes. This is not filler — it is the part clients mention most often, and the part fast massages skip entirely.
Tantric massage for two
Most couples who come for a tantric massage book it together: each has their own therapist and you lie side by side in the same room. It works even when one of you has never been to a studio before — having your partner in the room usually makes the whole situation simpler.
Who it is for
For people whose head is full and needs switching off for a while. For anyone who gets nothing out of a sports massage because their tension does not sit in the muscles. And for those who want an erotic massage but are put off by the idea of rushing — tantric massage is the slowest thing we offer.
We offer it at both Prague studios: Opletalova street in Prague 1, a few minutes on foot from Wenceslas Square and the Main Station, and Lužická in Vinohrady, close to náměstí Míru. Ninety minutes is the length we recommend — sixty covers everything, but the closing stillness ends up shorter than it deserves.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between tantric and erotic massage?
Pace and framing. An erotic massage is a full-body oil massage with a sensual ending. A tantric massage adds breathwork, a much slower rhythm and a long closing phase where you simply lie still. Choose tantra if you mainly want to quiet your head.
Which length should I book?
Ninety minutes. Sixty fits the whole sequence but leaves a shorter ending. Thirty and forty-five minutes make sense as a first taste if you want to try tantra before committing.
Do I need to know how to meditate?
No. Your therapist guides the whole session, breathing included. Nothing is expected of you and there is nothing to learn in advance.
Can I book for the same day?
Usually yes. Call or message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you which therapists are on shift and what is free at both studios.
